In this session you are going to tell your partner about a film you have seen recently. You have to include:

1 The reasons you went to see the film.
2 The film genre.
3 The setting.
4 The actors.
5 The plot.
6 Your opinion of the film.

Thus, on of you will make the following questions:

1 What were the reasons for you to see the film?
2 What type of film is this?
3 Where is the film set?
4 Who are the actors appearing in this film?
5 What about the plot?
6 What's your opinion about it?

You should / can use some of the following expressions:

The film is set in... (La película tiene lugar en...)
The film actors are... (Los actores de la película son...)
In my opinion... (En mi opinión...)
I enjoyed it because... (Disfruté de la película porque...)
The film is / isn't suitable for... (La película es / no es adecuada para...)
I recommend this film because... (Recomiendo esta película porque...)
I don't recommend this film because... (No recomiendo esta película porque...)
It is worth seeing. (Merece la pena verla)
It isn't worth seeing. (No merece la pena verla)


Remember one of you will ask (not read) a question while the other will answer so you have to say both, questions and answers. Try not to answer with few words. Good luck!

2º Bachillerato C. Writing Unit 6

You are going to write a narrative (100-150 words) about something that happened while you were at a celebration. Use the model on page 76 of your student's book. Use the steps in Getting Organized and some of the useful expressions and words below.

GETTING ORGANIZED

Step 1 Say when and where the events took place (Dí cuando y dónde tuvieron lugar los acontecimientos.

Step 2 Describe the events in the order they occurred, using connectors of sequence and time expressions. (Describe los acontecimientos en el orden en el que ocurrieron, usa conectores de secuencia y expresiones de tiempo).

Step 3 Include the ending of the story (Incluye el final de la historia).

Step 4 Check your work for mistakes (Revisa los posibles errores en tu escrito)
