1º Bachillerato A/B/C. Writing - Unit 4

La redacción de esta unidad trata sobre una descripción sobre un lugar, el que queráis (actividad 7 de la página 51 del libro). Para ello podéis tomar como modelo la actividad 1 de la página 50 del libro. La descripción debe contener entre 80 y 120 palabras. Incluye alguna de las siguientes expresiones en tu descripción:

- This place offers... - Este lugar ofrece...

- It's well-known for... - Es conocido por...

- The views are... - Las vistas son...

- It's got - Tiene...

- A popular tourist attraction is... - Uno de sus atractivos turísticos es...

- In this place it's possible to... - En este lugar siempre es posible...

Haz uso de parte del vocabulario visto al principio de la unidad así como los adjetivos vistos en las páginas 50 y 51.

REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS:

1. Escribe la biografía en un folio. No se aceptarán escritos en hojas de cuadernos o similares.
2. Escribe con letra clara y legible. Una letra no legible implica la no corrección de la prueba.
3. La entrega de la prueba no se aceptará más allá de la fecha de entrega establecida.

A continuación vais hacer una descripción sobre prendas que vosotros mismos vais a elegir siguiendo estos pasos:

• Proponer cinco prendas para una línea de invierno.
• Descripción general de la prenda.
• Materiales y estampados usados.
• Colores de la prenda.
• Instrucciones de cuidado según el material empleado (pág 26 actividad 9).
• Incluye un cuadro de medidas para cada prenda atendiendo al cuadro de la página 31 del libro.

The first garment for my new Winter line is a gorgeous shirt. This one includes long sleeves, as it is for winter, six buttons along the chest as well as a button per cuff. Strong seams habe been applied to improve the lifespan of the garment and make it durable. The material used on this garment is cotton and the pattern employed is tartan. Red and navy are the colours we decided to apply.

Care instructions: machine wash cold on gentle cycle, use mild detergent and steam iron.

2º Bachillerato C. Speaking / Listening - Unit 3

In this session you are going to follow the instructions of the activity 4 on page 40 of your student's book. In pairs, tell your partner if he/she agrees or disagrees with the statements below. Then you have to give your reasons why.

1 If something is cheap, it means it is not good quality.
2 Shopping online is unsafe.
3 You always save money shopping at sales.
4 Brand-name products are worth the extra money.
5 It is important to buy the latest fashions.

Use some the expressions below:

e.g.
- It is important to buy the latest fashions.
- I agree with that because people who keep up with fashion trends are always cool

Remember one of you will say (not read) a statement while the other will answer so you have to say both, statement and answer. Try not to answer with few words. Good luck!
