SPEAKING SESSION. UNIT 2.

Set on the 17th December, 2015. In this session you are going to play a role in a job interview. IN PAIRS, one of you will play the employer and the other will play the applicant. Follow these steps:

1 First of all, you should greet each other:

- Good morning sir/madam.
- Good morning sir/madam. Could you take seat?
- Yes
...

2 Have a look on page 26 (activity 4) of your student's book to make, at least, five questions. Examples:

-  Are you over 18?
-  Would you mind working overtime?
-  Can you tell me more about your experience as sales manager? 
- What do you do in your free time?
...
Then the employer will ask the applicant all these questions so the applicant can answer.

3 Try using expressions to make sure speakers understand everything. Examples:

- Can you repeat that, please?
- Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean.

The applicant will ask, at least, two questions to the employer. Examples:

- Excuse me, How much is the salary? / How much will I earn?
- Excuse me, Is it possible to work only at weekends?
