SPEAKING SESSION. UNIT 1.
In this session you
are going to describe a partner in your class. You are free to choose the partner to describe. Follow these instructions:
- Firstly describe his / her physical appearance. Try to describe his/her clothes too (at least some of them).
- Later describe his / her personality. Use three adjectives to describe your partner and say something he/she is not.
- Use the vocabulary learned in this unit.
PHYSICAL
APPEARANCE
1. Genre --> He
is a boy / She is a girl.
2. Hair -->
He/She has got ... (remember to place adjectives in the correct order: Size,
shape and colour)
e.g. "She has got short (size), curly
(shape) and blonde (colour) hair."

Eyes --> He/She has got blue eyes / His/her eyes are blue.
4.
Height --> He/She is short / tall / average height.
5.
Weight --> He/she is thin / fat / overweight.
6.
Face --> I think he/she is attractive / unattractive / gorgeous / pretty /
...
7. Body --> I think he/she is well-built / petite
CLOTHES
You
can also describe your partner's clothes.
"He
is wearing a green pullover, black trousers and leather boots."
PERSONALITY
Use
some of the adjectives learned in this unit. There are lots of them: friendly,
unfriendly, outgoing, honest, dishonest, sociable, unsociable, moody, stubborn,
cheerful, calm, polite, impolite, patient, impatient, shy, successful, mature,
immature, considerate, inconsiderate, organised, disorganised, dependent,
independent...
You
can also include some hobbies, likes or dislikes:
"She
likes going out" / "He hates doing homework" / "She doesn't
like sports" / "She can't stand westerns"
